Kinetic Link Training

Kinetic Link Training (KLT)

Kinetic Link Training (KLT) is a challenging and enjoyable approach to functional strength and conditioning training. KLT uses the movement of your entire body instead of traditional weight-based based programs that focus on one particular muscle group or region at a time. KLT can be integrated into your overall fitness plan for exercise, sports training or simply to get strong and fit for everyday activities like gardening, or being fit to lifting groceries, move furniture and keep up with the kids.

KLT aims to improve your body’s ability to ‘move with ease’. Kinetic Link training exercise programs can be designed for specific rehabilitation needs or to improve your performance at any level or at any age and can be implemented and modified when you are injured.

With KLT training you will learn to master biomechanically balanced exercises.

Kinetic Link Training Exercises

Whether you are an elite athlete or simply want to increase your movement or overall fitness, KLT is a great way to develop strength and endurance, improve confidence in your coordination, balance and everyday movement as well as sports specific movement patterns.

The KLT exercise programme will teach you to train distinct movement patterns, not individual muscles

The KLT exercises are fully balanced full-body functional strength and conditioning exercises that use arcs & combinations of movements.

At City Physiotherapy we offer individually tailored Kinetic Link Training programs for you to carry out in your home with simple and inexpensive resistance bands & equipment or at the gym utilising mostly cables and pulleys.
