Karen joined our City Physiotherapy team in July 2021 and is especially eager to help our patients with their enquiries and appointments via her reception role at City Physiotherapy. She originates from Zimbabwe in Africa and has worked in various administration roles throughout South Africa and the United Kingdom in the past. Prior to joining the City Physiotherapy team she worked directly with residents in a dementia unit within an aged care facility in Adelaide.
Many years ago, Karen was involved in a major motor vehicle accident herself and required extensive assistance from a number of medical and allied health professionals. Karen has a deep sense of empathy and her own experiences have given her a unique perspective and appreciation for the work that we do.
Off Duty
In her spare time Karen enjoys volunteering with a community group that provides exercise therapy for older people, she is a cat lover, likes a good chat and to spend time with her husband at the beach.
