Qualifications
Tesia graduated from the University of South Australia with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) in 2022, during which she obtained the chancellor’s letters of commendation and University Merit awards. She has a passion for helping people and learning, holding certification from the South Australian Sports Medicine Association as a Sports Trainer (Level 1). Tesia is also trained and highly skilled in advanced neuromuscular dry needling (western acupuncture). Most recently she has worked for several local Adelaide football clubs with player injury treatment and prevention. Prior to moving to Australia, she worked as a full-time CrossFit Coach for three years in Seoul, South Korea, where she originates from. She holds a certification for leaders in Body Building from Yong-in University, South Korea and is also certified in Gymnastics and Competitors Training from CrossFit. Her talents do not end there as she also holds a Bachelor of Architecture (5 years) from Dankook University, South Korea.
Special Interests
Tesia has a specific interest in Women’s health, movement biomechanics in gym and in many sports such as Olympic weightlifting, free weightlifting, running, cycling, and gymnastics. She is also interested in postural related pain, sports injuries, headache treatment, mobility and balance rehabilitation for older patients and people with neurological conditions such as multiple sclerosis.

Off Duty
Tesia in her free time can be often found in the gym lifting weights, or on a mountain hiking. She also enjoys cooking, winery tours and brain teasers such as quiz, riddles, board games, escape rooms and detective novels.
She has found her passion in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, understanding that each person’s pain is different and that there is no set solution for one problem. She is a creative thinker and will work with her patients to develop fun and personalised treatment plans according to their interests and goals and always ensures that her patients’ needs are listened to.
Tesia takes a multi-modal approach in her treatment and will work with her patients through hands-on therapy and individualised strengthening and conditioning exercise programs. She can speak English and Korean fluently and welcomes people who are more comfortable with using the Korean language. Tesia is also a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association.
